Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026. These terms cover your use of copynpaste. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, the tool is free and you are welcome to close the tab.
Who you are dealing with
copynpaste is operated by JINO LABS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, a One Person Company registered in India and trading as JINO LABS, at 3rd Floor, 25-2-200/103 SF-304, Revenue Ward 52, Kanithi, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530044, India. In these terms that company is called we or us, and you are the person using the site. Reach us through the contact page.
What the service is
copynpaste converts text formatting between applications. The conversion runs in your browser, so the text you paste stays on your device, which is described in full on the privacy page. There is also an optional developer API, which does process the text you send it on a server in order to convert it and return the result.
We aim for the conversions to be correct and we test them against each platform's own documentation, but formatting rules on other companies' products change without notice. Check important text after converting it. The tool is a convenience, not a proofreader.
The free tier
The free tier needs no account and has no limit on how often you use it. It limits the length of a single conversion, currently 250 words, and that limit is enforced in your browser. The free tier may show advertising. We can change what the free tier includes, including the length limit and whether ads appear, and if we reduce it we will not do so retroactively to something you have already paid for.
Paid plans
Two plans remove the length limit. Monthly costs $4.99 a month and renews until you cancel. Lifetime costs $49 once. Both remove advertising from your account while the plan is active. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for new purchases, which never changes what you already paid.
Payment is handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. That means Dodo is the seller of record for the transaction, your card details go to them and never to us, and their terms apply to the payment itself. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, and that is what unlocks your account.
What the lifetime plan actually covers
Lifetime means the lifetime of the service, not a guarantee that any particular person or company lives forever, and it is worth being precise because the word invites the opposite reading. It is a single payment with no renewals, and it removes the length limit and advertising from your account for as long as we operate copynpaste. New formats and features we add to the converter are included as they ship. We are not promising to build any specific format, on any timetable, and a feature that is genuinely a separate product rather than part of the converter may be priced separately. If we say a thing is coming, that is a plan and not a term.
If we ever discontinue copynpaste entirely, we will give notice on the site beforehand where we reasonably can. We are not going to pretend a one-time payment obliges a company to exist indefinitely, because no honest version of these terms can say that.
Cancellation
Cancel a monthly plan at any time from Manage billing in the account menu, which opens the Dodo customer portal. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. There is nothing to cancel on a lifetime plan, since it does not renew.
Refunds
If the tool does not do what this site says it does, tell us through the contact page within three days of your purchase and we will refund you. We would rather refund someone than argue with them about a small amount of money. That three-day window is our own policy and it sits on top of whatever the law gives you, so if you have a statutory right to withdraw that lasts longer, it still applies and the section below explains it.
One consequence to state plainly rather than let you discover it. A refund removes the paid access it paid for, and our system treats any refund on a payment that way, including a partial one. So if a partial refund is ever issued against your purchase, the unlock is removed rather than reduced. If that happens and it was not what you intended, contact us and we will put it right.
Refunds are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, so the money returns by the route it arrived and their processing times apply.
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or India
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law, and where a term here conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the law wins and that term does not apply to you.
In particular, consumers in the EU and the UK normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase, which is longer than the three-day goodwill window above and is not replaced by it. Digital content is a special case, because that right can end once delivery begins with your express consent, and a paid plan unlocks immediately on payment. Where that notice and consent are collected they are presented by Dodo Payments at checkout, since they are the seller of record. If you want to withdraw and are unsure where you stand, contact us and we will not use the fine print against you.
Using it fairly
Do not use the site to break the law, do not try to get around the free-tier limit or the paywall, and do not attack the service, which includes scraping it in a way that degrades it for other people or trying to exhaust the abuse limits described on the privacy page. The developer API needs a key and has its own rate limits. We may suspend access that is doing any of this, and for a paid account we will refund the unused part rather than keep the money.
Your text and your content
The text you convert is yours and stays yours. We claim no rights over it and, in the web tool, we never receive it. You are responsible for having the right to use the text you paste.
What we are responsible for, and what we are not
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and the conversions are best-effort against platform rules we do not control. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you have paid us nothing, our liability is limited to nothing, which is the honest consequence of a free tool.
That limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, it applies to new purchases rather than retroactively to yours.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove your right to bring a claim in your own country where the law gives you that right. Before either of us goes near a court, write to us through the contact page. Most things are a misunderstanding and a reply fixes them.
